To reiterate the advice @robswaimea gave…
I would test with the default WordPress theme running and with all other plugins deactivated. There are errors on that calendar page preventing the calendar from loading that almost certainly are being caused by your theme or another plugin.
Apparently the only thing I can actually do is make this worse.
Also.. deleting Events Manager and reinstall.. try going to
Settings -> Events Manager
General tab (you should be here automatically)
scroll all the way down to the bottom…
Admin Tools (Advanced)
the last option is…
Uninstall/Reset
I did as you said. But there is no events manager under settings. There is a general tab under settings. That tab takes you to a page where you can enter the site name and change some time zones and codes. So I went to the Events Manager tab and there was no General tab there but there was a settings tab. So under that I found the advanced thing. I clicked on the reset button but nothing seemed to happen. So I did it again and again.
Now I have 4 events pages and 4 category pages and 3 location, 3 bookings and 3 tags pages. ARRGGG… So I still do not have a calendar.
Do I need more than one event on a single day for the calendar to work? Cause right now the only thing that happens is the number for the date changes color.
Next question. SHORT CODE. How does that work? I see some that are like this.
[fullcalendar] Then I see some that are [fullcalendar, topic included $28003 Back inside blank blank bla bla} What is all that other stuff in there?
Aww heck gang. I can not even do a theme change.
OK.. I deactivated everything. Changed to 2017 theme. Now I have two calendars on my home page. One little one and one big one. Makes no sense to me.
I took the short code off the calendar page. The page loads but it is empty. I do not know what error you guys are seeing. I dont know how to tell that. I had the code [Fullcalendar] on the page before but nothing showed up. Is this code case sensitive?
Why do I now have two calendars?
I do not see any short code on my home page?
Calendars dont work. The Large calendar has nothing on it and th small calendar has colored numbers on the dates but when you click on them you get an error message.
So I am now I am even more messed up.
Does the dog ever catch his tail?
Not today!
Jeff
OK… This might be an error.
ON the WPcalendar page. Down at the bottom it says,
Load JS and CSS files on
It says wright the page ID where the calendar will be displayed.
I wrote in the box, “Calendar” Could that be the error?
No… not really.. I don’t think so.. leave it blank anyway…

OK.. That did the trick. I now have a calendar on the Calendar page.
Now I need to get my theme back and then figure out how to be able to make an appointment on the calendar from the front end and where.
Then I need to figure out how to get the other two calendars off the page.
I just got back in from work… I have been looking at your site and it looks like your are getting
somewhere and figuring things out as of 5:47 PM 12/8/2017 EST.
The “other” calendar on your page is a “Posts” calendar…
go into your Admin and find the Widgets page and remove the “Posts Calendar” widget.
Congratulations !!!
also…
for future reference… finding errors on a webpage….
If you don’t already know how to use the “Inspector” in Chrome or Firefox…
right click on any page….
drop down box will show “Inspect Element” for Firefox… something similar for Chrome…click that…
There you will see a row… Inspector | Console | Debugger | etc etc etc….
Click Console
now there will be a second row… Net | CSS | JS | etc etc…
click JS there will be a drop down box Errors and Warning… click both of them to show.
you may have to refresh the page.
Good luck !
Well, I now have a calendar working.
Anyone want to give me a clue how to post events from the front side of the site and not the CP or BackRoom
Thank again for all your help. I made a mistake and found it.
Jeff
start a new thread for that question…
also… just so you know.. I am not part of support.. just some dude.
and be so kind to mark the topic as resolved if you haven’t already
