    Howdy,

    We’re in a WooCommerce + WPML setting.

When switching languages on the checkout page, different payment methods are displayed. In the stripe account, under “payment methods” we can see, that e. g. SOFORT payment is only available in Austria, Germany and Belgium, so it _somehow_ makes sense to not display it when English is selected.

BUT, the question is: Where and/or how is determined, what payment methods are displayed? It can’t be just the language?

    Thanks and best

    Hey there @ta123

BUT, the question is: Where and/or how is determined, what payment methods are displayed? It can’t be just the language?

For our Stripe extension, it isn’t language controls the payment gateway display – it is currency based. So when the store is in United States Dollars (for example) and you enable the SOFORT payment gateway, you will get a notice:

SOFORT is enabled – it requires store currency to be set to EUR

Change the currency to Euros and the banner disappears.

We’re tracking this type of enhancement here – https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/issues/1018

I hope this helps, have a great day!

    Thanks,
