    Hello @sadignet

Thank you for contacting us, it seems you are using the AMP plugin in reader mode with a legacy theme.

the legacy theme has different hooks than our standard themes, you can use amp_post_template_head for head and the_content for body

You can learn more about customizing the legacy theme in our documentation

However, it seems you are using the Site kit by Google plugin which also places auto ads on both AMP and non-AMP pages, we also noticed ads on AMP pages, if you are looking for a plugin that can place ad units instead of Auto Ads, we will recommend checking Advanced Ads or Ad Inserter plugin.

    We hope this is helpful!

Thank you for the great response my friend.. Would you recommend replacing the legacy theme with the standard one?

    Hello @sadignet

Yes, Ideally using an AMP-first website is recommended, which means using Standard mode is recommended.

but it seems you are using Jannah Theme currently, the Jannah theme forces users to use the Legacy theme via code.

in case you are looking to change your primary theme, we will recommend checking the AMP ecosystem for some well-known and unique AMP-compatible theme.
