how can I hide empty categories using 'hide_empty'

    Hello everyone,

    I currently use a A-Z Category listing plugin however one thing I’d like it to do is hide empty categories. I’ve been reading the Codex and found out that there is a code to achieve it by using hide_empty however I have no idea how I’d be able to implement it into the PHP code which I’ve linked to below.
