No, it doesn’t work. I still cannot find the plugins. I have downloaded it but don’t know how to put into my wp-content.
I’m also having a problem with this. I have no option to add plugins.

I think the wordpress theme may be outdated. We were unable to install plugins and with the update to 4.2.2 we now can. Hope that helps! –InkLynk
you can only add plugin for hosted wordpress, does not work for wordpress.com

I have looked on some source of the similar problem and have found out that on my user, it shows administrator. The URL is also mydomainname.com without wordpress.com. However, my Primary address is wordpress.com, which I am not sure that it’s possible to change or not because it is what I create the new address. I think we all are not capable to change this primary. I followed every step where I could find online but still cannot find the plugin botton. If anyone is professional, if help me to solve this.
