    Good Day,

We just noticed the confirmation message that appears after a user completes and submits a subscription request form cannot be customized.

That is, the associated back end “Show message” field is not HTML friendly. The only thing we can change is the text color.

How can we customize the confirmation message? (e.g., use bold text, add a line break, etc.)

    Details: Back End

    Details: Front End

    Thank you!

    Hi there @generosus,

Yes, as you’ve found, that “After Submit” message box does not currently support HTML, and just allows setting some text message to display in the “Success” state of submitting the subscription form.

Changing that to support HTML would require changes in the plugin code, and is not something we would be able to assist with via the support forum here.

It would be great if you could add it as a suggestion/enhancement request on our feedback/ideas board here: https://feedback.mailpoet.com

Our team will take it into account when discussing new features and improvements for the plugin.

    Hey @kellymetal,

Done. Here it is: Make “Show Message” Field HTML Friendly.

    Kindly elevate. Help appreciated.

    Thank you 🙂
