how do i activate plugin: wp_mail_smtp

    Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.

    Login to your WordPress. Dashboard > Plugins > find the plugin and click activate.

    Or, as whooami suggested to you earlier, login. Then, in the address bar, type;

    //www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin/plugins.php

    …it takes you to the same place… then find the wp_mail_smtp plugin, and click activate.
