How do I chose a default shipping method?

    I have searched and searched. I deleted all the newly deprecated shipping methods and created a new zone based system (with 2 zones, US and NON). I have flat rate options, free local pickup, flat rate freight, and standard ground up to next day air. My system will not let me order the shipping options or chose a default like it did in older versions of WP and WC. My customers are adding little 5 pound items to their cart and it is defaulting to charge them over $300 in freight instead of $10 for ground. Please help!

    My customers can chose from the other methods, but it is also scaring some of the less patient ones off 🙁

    This is killing me!!!!!!!!! Customers are posting in public forums asking why shipping costs so much. There MUST BE A WAY TO SET A DEFAULT!!!!!
