How Do I create Dynamic Pages?

    I need some advice on how to create dynamic pages on my website. I want to create a “Beauty” and “Love” page where newly tagged beauty & love content will go onto those pages. Currently, I only have static pages. I’m not sure how to create dynamic pages… but I’d like them so my visitors can more easily access content they’ve come to read. My website is tabithoughts.com, if you want to get a better idea of what I have now.

    You already have those set up on your site. Any category you create gets its own archive page, which lists all of the posts that are in that category.

    For example:
    https://tabithoughts.com/category/love/
    https://tabithoughts.com/category/lifestyle/
    https://tabithoughts.com/category/elite-daily/

    Hi @tabithoughts,

    I think its better to use tags page instead of dynamic pages, actually they are considered as dynamic pages.

    For example if you have a tag called beauty then you can easily go to www.your-website.com/tags/beauty and you will see all posts tagged in beauty.

    OR

    www.your-website.com/category/beauty in case you are using categories instead of tags.

    Is there a way to put my tags/categories at the top of the page so they can be easily seen?

    But, can I put those categories at the top of the website within a drop down menu or something similar?

    In your site’s menu you can add a link to those pages. On the back end wp-admin side of your site go to Appearance > Menus.

    If you’re adding a link to a category (i.e. https://tabithoughts.com/category/love/), expand the “Categories” section along the left side, place a check in the box next to the categories you want to add to the menu, then click the “Add to Menu” button. After you’ve added all the links you want, click the “Save Menu” button. Visit your homepage, and you should see those links there.

    If you’re adding a link to a tag, it’s the same process but instead of expanding the “Categories” section, expand the “Tags” section.

    If you don’t see either of those sections on the left side, scroll to the top of the page, and open the “Screen Options” menu (top right). Make sure there is a check in the box next to Categories and/or Tags as needed.
