How do I downgrade

    Hi, I want to downgrade from 3.0 to 2.9.2. How can I do this. 3.0 has caused enough issues to my site.

    You might be able to get away with just restoring the 2.9.2 files that can be found at http://ww.wp.xz.cn/download/release-archive/ Delete the 3.0 files first (like following Steps 7 and 8 in Upgrading WordPress Extended.

    If that doesn’t work restore your backups or ask your host if they have a backup they can restore.

    Thanks, it went smoothly but when I go to wp-admin, I get this message:

    “Database Upgrade Required

    WordPress has been updated! Before we send you on your way, we have to upgrade your database to the newest version.

    The upgrade process may take a little while, so please be patient.

    Upgrade WordPress Database”

    Should I proceed?
