• Hi,

I’ve installed Wordpess.com Stats (v1.3.2) for blog tracking but in order to work properly it requires my API key.

The how-to says I can find my API key in the welcome e-mail I received but I can’t seem to find my welcome e-mail.

How do I find the API key without the welcome e-mail? (Or, alternatively, is there a way to have the welcome e-mail resent?)

  • you login to wordpress.com (this is ww.wp.xz.cn) — then you visit your profile page.

Link to the wordpress.com forums was removed by me to avoid confusion, but heres the snippit.

… while logged in, you will see a blue bar (above the wordpress banner). At the left end of the blue bar is a menu called “my account”. Click on that and select “edit profile”. That will take you to your user account profile page (which is different from clicking “view my profile” on the right end of the blue wordpress.com bar at the top of the forum). At the top right, you will see:

“Your WordPress.com API key is: [this will be your API key]. Don’t share your API key, it’s like a password.”

Hello please help i also need my API key but cannot find it.

i use WP to update my website(designed by someone else)
i use this address to access wp http://www.watfordbuilders.com/wp-admin

    many thanks
