how do i install apache

    im trying to great a permalink which is taking me forever even though I’m following every bit of advice I can find (codex, tentblogger).I think Ineed Apache to help with the next step!?
    Please help.

    If you have a host account then host provider installs Apache which is part of php

    Apache is already installed on your host’s server — it’s the webserver software that has to be there for any pages to be displayed at all.

    (Well, technically, there are other webserver software packages; Apache is just the name of the most common one. But if you have a website at all, one of them is already installed.)
