• OK, I installed Editor Monkey and itscrwed up the toolbars so I removed it, then tried FCKmonkey to see if I liked FCK better. Now my toolbar while posting is the text version and the TinyMCE bar will not load.

I ran across an older post saying to edit the database and remove any mention of it from wp_options and wp_usermeta. I did so, but to no avail. I still have the text only buttons. Each user is set to use the rich text editor, but it won’t load.

I grabbed the latest TinyMCE and tried swapping the files, no luck there either.

Any ideas? The author’s website says to just remove it from the active plugins, this won’t even remotely work.

Still stuck, I’ve been in and out of the MyPHP admin page and I’ve removed all mentions I could find, but still no luck.

    1) Deactivate using the uninstall link in the plugin description, not the “Deactivate” link provided by WordPress. This will run the EM uninstall script, which will remove all of the plugin’s settings from the database and reset using the (built-in) rich editor by default (for new users).

    2) Go to your user profile page and select “Use rich editor.”

    3) Done.
