• I can remove all permalinks globally (not an option) and I can change the permanlink target url’s with a plugin. But how do I remove a permalink on a given post title? I don’t want to confuse visitors by having pointless links everywhere that take them to the homepage.

  • remove a permalink on a given post title

Can you clarify what you mean by this?

Yep. My site is mostly made up of posts… titles and content text. By default. By defaul WP inserts a permalink so the title is hypertext… links back to my homepage. I want the option of removing those links on ones that I don’t need to link anywhere.

No – that’s not the default behaviour for any WordPress site. What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

    I’m using Headway, latest version.

I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developer/vendor. We do not support commercial themes here.
