    I send a simple email with one line of text, and an image. It does not matter which image template I use, the name of the image I included in the email sent using outlook always includes the local filename of the image.

    Ok, I see what you are referring to.

    Please ensure a message with an image is waiting then click the Debug button in Postie and send the output to [email protected]

    Thanks for the debug info. It appears that Outlook is adding the name of the attachment to the plain text version of the email. You can try switching Postie to “html” and see if that helps. Otherwise you may have to use a different email client.

    For those interested, you can eliminate this issue if you paste the image into your Outlook email instead of drag-n-drop from a picture on your drive.
