How do I reset changes made by this plugin?

    I have uninstalled the plugin, deleted the tables in the database and removed the itsec options under the options table as well.

    The files are NOT on my hard drive anywhere, however my site is still not allowing me to make changes to my wp-config.php and .htaccess file – I have tried to get the files via FTP and make changes, but I always get a “do not have permissions to make changes” error. I tried to FTP and do a chmod on the wp-config.php file and still unable to make changes to that file.

    How do I revert back to before installing this plugin? It is preventing me from getting work done!!?? I have looked through FAQs and Googled for a solution, haven’t found anything, yet. Anyone??
