I am leaving town next week and need to publish a post while I am gone. (I won’t have access to internet while I’m gone.)

I have not been successful in the past when I have tried to schedule a post to publish on a future date. How do I do this?

    My blog is http://www.prettyhungryblog.com

When you had an issue previously with trying to schedule a post for a future date was there any error? or did it simply not post?

I’ve never had an issue scheduling a post using that method ^ but if you have I have a couple of ideas.

    1) Check with your hosting company, there may be an issue with the cron scheduler for your account that isn’t allowing the scheduled time/post to actually happen. It could also be an issue with the database, but either way if you describe the issue you had previously they can help ensure it gets sorted out.

    2) You may want to check out this plugin https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-missed-schedule/ again, I haven’t used it but for those people who have had issues with a scheduled post not working it seems to have helped.

    All the best

Kelli, that’s a good answer and thanks! But I like to use the ww.wp.xz.cn version of that page. 😉

In this case the .COM version does work too. Same feature.
