How do you avoid tracking analytics on yourself?

    Where is there a setting for IP address versus role. The plugin removes roles as you work on your site… which is great but I check the sites I work on in another browser other than the WP dashboard I’m working in.

    My questions is:
    – How do we exclude these hits on the stats?

    If you have a static IP you can get a domain name for your IP and then add that domain to the Exclusions List within your Google Analytics account.

    IP address exclusions would not be cache compatible in most cases on our end which is why we don’t offer it. Instead you should use the IP address exclusions in the Google analytics settings as described by eastcapetours above.
