    Hello,

I am pretty happy with how Imagify works for WordPress. In fact, I’d like to replicate its behaviour on another site that uses a custom script. Now I wonder, how does Imagify work exactly?

Like, I know I have to use the API, and I found the documentation, but the docs only say that images are going to be optimized. So I wonder what else happens.

Is Imagify creating webp with Imagick/GD and send it to the API or how would I have to imagine its internal magic?

I mean if it’s a secret, you could also tell me if the API supports webp as an image format. Or if that’s even necessary to have webp optimize. Wink wink, nudge nudge. 🙂

    Thank you 🙂

    Hi @alduinwf

    Thank you for contacting us!

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to create and display WebP from API at the moment. I am sorry about that.

Let me know if you need further assistance. I’ll be happy to help.

    Best Regards,

    Ioanna
