How Will This Affect SEO? Duplicate Content Question

    Quick question, if you don’t mind! Will using Block Visibility impact SEO? Just wondering if it might lead to duplicate content in the HTML version. Not too sure how it works behind the scenes. Thanks!

    Hi @haribonda,

    The only control that could potentially impact SEO is the Screen Size option. This hides content using CSS classes, so the blocks still technically exist in the front end HMTL markup. The rest of the visibility controls prevent the block markup from rendering at all.

    If you don’t mind some random person adding an opinion here…

    I always thought that “duplicate content” meant having the same content on different pages, and therefore one page would be demoted compared to the other. I never interpreted this to be applicable to a couple sections of a page (though I may be wrong).
