Hello, @guido07111975
The Wordfence Login Security plugin contains a subset of the functionality found in the full Wordfence plugin, such as Two-factor Authentication, XML-RPC Protection, and Login Page CAPTCHA. This does not include the full brute force login protection that the Wordfence plugin does (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wordfence/)
The full Wordfence plugin includes all of the features in the login security plugin as well as a full-featured WordPress firewall, a security scanner, live traffic, brute force protection, and more. If you want additional login protection outside of the captcha and 2FA, you will want to install the full Wordfence plugin and deactivate the Login Security version.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott,
Thanks! So in case I don’t have an active Two-factor Authentication and Login Page CAPTCHA there’s (almost) no reason to use this “subset” plugin?

That is right, this plugin is primarily for two-factor authentication (2FA) and the captcha. It would be primarily used in a case where you have a site and you’re happy with the security that you have in place, but you want to use the Wordfence 2FA and captcha for the additional protection.
If you do not currently have a firewall and security in place on the site, I would recommend using the Wordfence plugin (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wordfence/) which comes with the Login Security features as well.
If you have any questions, please let us know!
Thanks,
Scott
