    I’m just curious how does plugin forwarding work?
    mod_rewrite Htaccess file?

    Hi,

    We use the WordPress Rewrite function.
    Also, the plugin is open source, you can look into it anytime you want.

    If plugin uses WordPress function and does not alter/use htaccess why is it not working on Nginx?

    The WordPress custom rewrites are altering the .htaccess file.

    For Nginx, the PRO version is generating the code for nginx.conf.

    We don’t offer installation support for the free version and for Nginx is usually needed.
