How does the author taxonomy work?

    I noticed on your demo site for fan fiction, you have the option to filter by author. I was wondering how I can do that on my site. I feel like I’m missing something really obvious, but I’ve gone over it several times and I don’t see anything.

    How might I do this?

    Hiya Tommy,

    Authors are automatically added to the drop down list as they register (or are approved as) authors on your site.

    Is that not happening with your site?

    Ahh… I see what’s happening. I had turned the automatic filter box off and was using a replacement, so the author field wasn’t being generated. Thanks, it’s working now.
