Hey guys and girls. How does this compare to Backupbuddy from ithemes? I use it extensively, but on occasion does crap out on me.

In one of your videos, I noticed the part about needing a fresh install on the target machine, which backupbuddy doesn’t, but what else? I’m not looking for a comprehensive list, just an opinion.

I haven’t used Backupbuddy and cannot comment on their product.

In my own “unbiased” opinion:
The plugin is super simple to use – it is one-click export and one-click import – literally!
The plugin uses own archiving format, more on it here: https://blog.servmask.com/wpress-vs-zip/
It works equally fine on limited shared hostings and on powerful dedicated machines.
