How does this plugin handle existing users?

    Hi,

    Apologies if these questions are already answered somewhere. From reading the description, it *seems* like the answer is “yes,” but I’d like to know for certain:

    I have a site with 1,000 members and I want to offer a subscription package to turn off ads for “Paid Subscribers.”

    Can I use this plugin to allow registered members to effectively “upgrade” their account to “Paid Subscriber?” Also, can a person who’s not a registered member “Subscribe” and have an account automatically created?

    Hi @themichaelglenn,

    The pro version includes shortcodes which can be used to show content, but there isn’t really a way to hide content.

    Currently both with the free or pro version there is no way to link a WordPress existing subscriber account to the plugin. They need to purchase through the plugin first.
