• Hi all,
Anyone know if installing a woocommerce shop on a subsite of the network ( with all the features of a super admin ) be less powerful and stable than an woocommerce installed in the main site of the platform?
I made the example of an Ecommerce, but I could have said anything else that requires a solid website structure.
I just need to know if the subsites I want to add with wp Multisite can work as fine as the main site do, or if being subsites can’t be used for big projects.
Let me underline one more time that I’d give the subsite all the credentials of a super admin.
    Hope in your help.
    Thanks in advance

  • What exactly do you mean? There is no difference. It is just a WordPress site. I would worry about your server if you want a big project and about the plugins and WordPress itself. Not about main or subsite.

@nnikolov Thanks, you already answered me saying there is no difference.
When you say to worry about the server and the plugins, you mean that the website would be too much vulnerable for having too many plugins? I’m trying to install just the essential ones and for sure just premium and up dated ones.
What about the server? Should I look for the capacity? or any safety issues?
    Thanks in advance

Well, I thought you are asking about speed, performance and server load, these kind of stuff. Because you said big projects. So what I mean is that the things that affect these things are using WordPress itself (instead of custom made site), using poorly made plugins, and of course how powerful the server is. And the theme also affects speed. But subsite or main site will not affect these stuff.
