How kill Akismet??

    I have used Akismet for a while and being annoyed by that spam messages, of filtered commentators being saved as spam.

    I did deactivate the plugin but it still saves spam messages and filtered messages.

    When I activate the plugin today it was 122 spam/filtered messages in the spam section. It shows that its impossible to deactivate it.

    How to do?

    Shall I take my ftp-program and take it away from the webserver?

    Should I kill some of the tables in MySQL? (witch?)

    Deactivate doesn’t work? Well then just remove it from your plugins folder indeed, either using FTP or the file manager of your control panel.
