How lightweight is this plugin?

    Hi,

    I’m just looking for some additional info before making a final decision on using this plugin. Does the plugin load resources only in the backend of WordPress or in the frontend as well? Will it add anything to pageload speed/efficiency of my website/pages?

    Hi,

    The plugin uses your website resources while the content audit is in progress. This should not cause any performance problems, unless the site is using a weak hosting service.

    If the site uses wp-cron instead of switching to native cron (https://developer.ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/cron/hooking-wp-cron-into-the-system-task-scheduler/), this may affect frontend during the audit execution similar to any other scheduled task. Otherwise it should not affect frontend or backend page load speed at all.

    We recommend running an audit once a month, there’s an audit schedule option in the plugin settings. The rest of the time the plugin does not use any website resources and does not affect load speed.
