How much time to learn wordpress theme development

    Hi all,
    can anybody tell me that,
    1)How much time anybody can take to learn wordpress theme development who is new to wordpress and know php, css and html.
    2)and tell me after learn how much time anybody can take in development.

    and also if you have any good study material to learn theme development(optional).

    1. Well, I’d say that it might take quite a while, especially since you’ll need to pick up some PHP, CSS, and XHTML knowledge along the way. It’s a learning experience, but learning by doing is definitely the best way.

    2. You can take as much time as you want, or rather as much time as you need to achieve awesome results that you’re happy with.

    Also, there are some great books at http://ww.wp.xz.cn/about/books/
