It is based on the setting you have for “Cache” -> “Refresh Interval” under the advanced tab on the calendar settings. The default is set to 2 hours.
The link may not help since it’s a temp domain, but for what it’s worth…
http://2c7.f73.myftpupload.com/
On the home page, I’ve placed an events list from the calendar in the right column. It’s set for two days…and I’m trying to update it. Updates are not making any changes, so that’s why I went looking for cache interval.
We are in-process of rolling to a new host (godaddy), so I’m working on the ‘new site’ (temp domain) as a sandbox before the rollover completes. (I went to Calendars — Settings — Advanced and also tried Plugins — Simple Calendar (Settings) — Advanced).
The only things listed are:
- Disable CSS
- Delete Settings
- Erase Calendar Data
I’ve changed a few settings (number of days listed) and they don’t seem to be changing. So, I went looking for the cache interval, and it’s not there. Is that:
a) because it’s on a temporary domain?
b) something in godaddy’s hosting?
c) a glitch?
d) something I’m not considering?
Thanks for any help,
Chris
Hi,
Sorry for the confusion it is listed in the advanced tab on the calendar settings. Here is what it looks like:
