    Hello,
First of all I want to thank you for this plugin.
This is really good idea, but I didn’t understand how this plugin works.

For example, I use CPT & ACF oembed to add videos from Youtube etc.
I wrote a small рнр script which add thumbnails from Youtube when I add the link.
    Link to the website: https://md7.info/en/video

And of course when I test my website via Gtmetrix I see this:

    Leverage browser caching:
    https://img.youtube.com/vi/2vrB5NeVi30/mqdefault.jpg (2 hours)
    https://img.youtube.com/vi/ApiJtOVBLjY/mqdefault.jpg (2 hours)

Does your plugin resolve this problem?

And is there any parameters in backend which I can edit? Or I must just activate this plugin?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

This plugin simply parses the post_content looking for external images. If it finds any it queues them to be cached locally. When cached the post_content is altered to use the local version.

Given you mention acf I assume references to to those images are stored as post meta data?

If so this plugin would not currently help, although I could enhance it to look parse certain fields. However this would be custom work and would require a donation to the LocalHero project.

If you want to go down that route send me an email on shawfactor at gmail dot com.

I am resolving this thread for good order. I will however still monitor the thread so if the plugin is not behaving as stated please revert.
