How to add plugins?

    I am using the wordpress.com dashboard from my browser. I don’t have any software installed on my pc. I want to keep it that way and yet want to install plugins. Is there a way this can be achieved?

    All the videos and links that I have read show a plugin button in the dashboard of the wordpress.com. Somehow it seems this option is no longer available.

    Please help.
