    Hello,

I love your plugin. I am the admin of the site and I have 2 editors. I have given them/their roles access to media, creating and editing posts, and Yoast. I have a plugin installed for internal linking called Linksy. How do I give their editor roles permission that they can access that plugin from the dashboard and do the internal linking work. I could not see any such option even in Additional.

    Please help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @hbk747

    Thanks for using PublishPress Capabilities.

If the plugin did not define specific capabilities, usually it will need a “manage options” capability inside the Admin tab. Can you try give that capability to the role?

If it still not working, you will need to get in touch with the plugin support to ask what the permissions to enable access to their plugin.

    Hope that helps.

Yes I had already done that. But when I activate “manage options” for that role, many things become active on their wordpress dashboard that I would not want them to have access to. Such as WordPress settings etc.

Is there any way that only specific plugin options can be shown in this case Linksy

That’s because “manage option” is very general permissions for most plugins.

If you have PRO version of PublishPress Capabilities, you can always hide other plugins menu using Admin Menus: https://publishpress.com/knowledge-base/admin-menus-screen/

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved. If you have any further questions, please reply again here, or you can start a new thread.

    Thanks,
