How to avoid WP-Poll calling to /wp-admin/ folder?

    WP-Polls makes a JS call to the /wp-admin/ folder and admin-ajax.php via the ‘script id=”wp-polls-js-extra“‘ line. But this means we can’t use the plugin, as our wp-admin folder has been secured with a password. Is there any way around this without weakening our security?
