How to create one page WordPress theme?

    I actually need to create a one page wp theme. But I’m not sure that it has same structure with general theme (for blogging).

    First, the template. Since the theme doesn’t have posting, does it mean that the template is consist of index.php, style.css, and function.php only? No header.php, comment, etc?

    Second, if someone use this theme does it mean if they create a posting, the posting won’t appear in their site no matter what?
