How to Decrease Height of Menu Strip and at Bottom after Footer

The easiest way is to use our Spacing add-on – it allows you to do the above inside the Customizer: http://www.generatepress.com/downloads/generate-spacing/

You can also use CSS, something like this should help:

.main-navigation .main-nav ul li a, .menu-toggle {
      line-height: 60px;
}

.site-info {
      padding-top: 20px;
      padding-bottom: 20px;
}
