I installed this to try to fix up an error adding Google Analytics code with your other plugin, Insert Header and Footer.
I thought this plugin would give me some control to either delete or edit the incorrect code, but it doesn’t.
Now I have two analytics codes, and I can’t remove either of these.
How do I edit the code? If I delete this plugin, will it leave the code behind like your other plugin did?

It impossible for a plugin to continue outputting code once it is deactivated.

It sounds like you have a caching plugin or service enabled. These plugins or services save copies of the HTML that is produced ti serve to visitors to make websites faster.

As a result when you deactivate plugins these caches would need to be cleared in order for the changes to take effect on your site.

Without a url provided, we aren’t able to see which caching plugin is in use so we can point you to their documentation on how to clear the cache.

Thanks, that is helpful. My host provides caching so it sounds like I just need to wait for this to clear.
