How to display description with shortcode?

Hi everybody!

I want to extract the book description as a shortcode to display it anywhere I want, how do I do that?

Example: [rcno-book-description]

Please help me!

Hello @ptienhung
As things are right now there is no shortcode for pulling just the book description. If you are familar with coding I can provide you with code to create a shortcode that grabs this from the database and displays it.

Hey, I have decided to incorporate that code I was working on for you into the plugin. I’ll add it to the update I plan on releasing Monday afternoon.

You can now use the following shortcode to display the books description

[rcno-book id=3723 detail="Book Description/Synopsis" wrapper="p" label="false"]

The id parameter is only required if you are using the shortcode outside of the book review. The detail parameter take the title of book detail you would like to fetch.
