Hi antonellamichelli,
When you are editting or creating a post or page, you use the WYSIWYG editor. Above this editor you’ll find a number of buttons to change textstyles (bold/Italic/Underline) and way more buttons. One of them is the button to insert a Google Map. (It has the Google Maps icon)
When you press it, You’ll see a popup window where you can select the desired maptype and define the preferred settings/location. After inserting the map (pressing the (by default) blue button) a [shortcode] formatted code will be added to your post/page. Save/Publish your post/page and the map will display on your updated page in the front-end.
I think I can just set this thread to solved?
It seems so easy reading it, but the button does not appear in my WYSIWYG editor… Maybe it is not a problem of the plugin but some other.
Thanks anyway for your help!! I really want to try your plugin!! 🙁
Everything solved!! Thanks for your help!!
Would you like to share what the problem was and what you did to fix it? So maybe I can make the compatibility with other plugins better, or others with the same problem can use your feedback to fix their possible problems.
Thank you!
Hi,
I’m trying to embed a map but disabling the scroll with the mouse wheel when over the map. I’m using a map full width and when you triyin to scroll the whole page scroll gets stuck on the map and start to do zoom. I´ve read some functions on the google API to disable this, but I don’t know where to put on your plugin.
I’m wondering if there is any solution to this.
Thank you!
