    Hello!
I can’t figure out how to get my page content to show full width edge-to-edge, especially for the Hero element but really for blocking off content, I’m wanting various Blocks to have this turned on.

I’ve set the Blocks to ‘Full-Width’ and they go to the container full width but not edge to edge of the screen. I feel like when playing around with it, I was able to do this for one block element but then deleted it on incident.

I’m using just WordPress/Guttenburg with Blocksy.

    Thank you!

  • Hello @pbreathe

Would you be able to post your website’s URL so we can take a better look? Blocksy does not restrict anything from setting its layout as full width, so I’m curious what’s happening on your end.

    Thanks

    Hello @pbreathe

A little reminder about this 🙂

Hi, @cteduard haven’t been working the past few days. Where would I go to enable this setting? The content just stays within the padded element it seems.

    Hello @pbreathe

I can see that you’re using Stackable, so here are some pointers for you.

For example, on many blocks, you will have an alignment option like this one — https://ibb.co/ysffZqB — which might be helpful for you.

Also, if you wish just the background to be full width, you simply need to select the top element (in this case container) and define its background like this — https://ibb.co/NnGtQWF

    Hope these pointers help! 🙂
    Thanks

I readded the Hero block, set it to full width again and now it’s working. I don’t know what the issue is, if I’m just selecting the wrong block- but I thought for sure I had the main one.

Should I not be using stackable? I am wanting to stay as unrelient as possible with outside builders such as Elementor and just use a native-as-possible theme building.

    Hey @pbreathe

Stackable couldn’t be a better choice for Blocksy, to be honest. Gutenberg is the way to go with WordPress. 🙂

I would stay away from Elementor as much as possible.

    Thanks
