    Greetings,

Is there any way to exclude an image from EWWWs auto optimize, or to turn off auto optimize (so that any new images have to go through bulk optimization)?

UPDATE: Feature request: Bring back this option in the settings page. 🙂

    Many thanks!

As I think you’ve noticed, it IS possible to disable auto-optimize via an override, but I don’t think that’s quite appropriate to your situation: https://docs.ewww.io/article/40-override-options

Since you just need certain images to skip resizing, you can simply insert “noresize” into the filename and EWWW IO will disable scaling operations.

If you want to disable resizing AND optimization for a given image (or a particular string/pattern), you can do so in Ludicrous mode under Folders to Ingore (it works on files, not just folders).

What?! Thanks so much. That worked perfectly!
Confession: I never looked at “Ludicrous Mode” because it sounded like it would do scary things. No kidding.

    Cheers

Glad to hear that worked for you 🙂
