Plugin shows pages even though I only selected posts. I even entered the page IDs of the pages that it was showing to exclude them but still didn’t work.

Are you using the widget? If so, are you selecting only Posts under the widget settings?

Sorry I was looking at the wrong plugin lol.

Question: Can I manually set which post is most popular?

In a way yes. You can edit the post and at the bottom set whatever post count you want in the Meta box.
