How to execute shortcode

    Hello.

    I’m trying to get an [amazon] shortcode executed, but it looks like you’re parsing shortcodes by hand to generate output. Could you tell me how to get an [amazon] shortcode executed?

    I can’t see an add_shortcode in the source…

    I’ve created a few Simple Links items with Amazon Links shortcodes in the description, but when the description is output on my site, the [amazon] shortcode isn’t being performed. I’m sure this has come up before but I can’t find anything from searching.

    Hi,

    What do you mean by ‘description’ are you putting the shortcodes in the content of a normal page / post or are you using some other plugin to generate your content?
