Hi @kreativito,
When I checked your homepage, I see that you have page caching turned on and your site is serving a cached version of the page. When you make changes to the Asset Optimization section please clear the page cache module or turn it off completely until you’re happy with the changes you’ve made, then you can turn the page caching back on.
Kind Regards,
CalumThank you Calum!
I did what you recommended. However, if you run again a page speed test you will see that the mentioned .css files are still called out.
I don’t get it. What else did I miss?
Thanks man, you are my hero!
Hi @kreativito,
After checking your Page Speed, it looks like you’ve managed to clear most of the suggestions. One that is still there is https://rieder-enterprises.com/?custom-css=d7b49355ad this looks like it’s not actually a file and might be dynamically generated css with PHP which Hummingbird wont be able to optimize.
Your score is at 92 which is really good!
Cheers,
CalumThank you. I figured out where this .css script is located.
The Theme itself provides in the WP-Dashboard the Customize button.
Within that, is the feature custom css.And there I put the code.
However.. I could download an additional custom css plugin…
add the code there, and remove it from the Theme.Do you think that would fix that problem?
Or is there any custom css plugin you would recommend I could use with no conflicts when using Hummingbird?I can also see that Thrive Architect always gives me some headache too.
uuahhh… I need to check. But I guess I got a big conflict. After installing Hummingbird, I can not save Thrive Architect Pages anymore.
Just does not work anymore.
Anything you suggest I can do in order to fix that issue?
Hi @kreativito,
hope you’re doing good and don’t mind me chip in here! 🙂
Do you think that would fix that problem?
Or is there any custom css plugin you would recommend I could use with no conflicts when using Hummingbird?I’d better advise theme author first on this, but yes, a workaround like this could resolve these Pagespeed issues.
For you custom CSS you can use the built-in method of WordPress located in Appearance->Customize->Additional CSS
Or you can create a child theme and include all customizations in there:

Just does not work anymore.
Anything you suggest I can do in order to fix that issue?HummingBird shouldn’t cause anything in /wp-admin/ pages.
As this plugin is premium and don’t have access to it, can you maybe create a new dummy WP installation and install only HummingBird and Thrive Architect plugins? This will tell us, if there’s anything else involving here. 😉Thank you,
DimitrisHello @kreativito
