I removed cookiebot plugin in order to try some other cookie plugin. I am finding out that removing the plugin doesn’t delete all the files and configurations. For instance, on some pages of my website, in developers tool I still get

“Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://consentcdn.cookiebot.com/consentconfig/f88aa862-0a98-45cc-a826-e60de2578a04/p2pguarantee.eu/configuration.js”.”

How do I completely remove plugin data? I use Cloudflare as CDN.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @ptwopguarantee

Do you use any caching plugins?

I did use WP Fastest Cache, but I disabled it and cleaned Cloudflare’s cache.

    BUMP

I used GTMetrix.com on https://p2pguarantee.eu/p2p-portfolio-update-may-2020/ and still got some cookiebot requests.

This request takes more than half a second and then fails:

    Hi

Sorry for the delay in following up on this.
This certainly looks like a caching issue, and I am no longer able to find any trace of Cookiebot on your website, so I believe all should be good now?

    Thank you for the reply.

I don’t know exactly where you searched for traces of Cookiebot, but when I do the same as I described in my last comment (run https://p2pguarantee.eu/p2p-portfolio-update-may-2020/ on GTMetrix.com), I still get cookiebot-specific traffic, for consent.cookiebot.com
    and consentcdn.cookiebot.com.

    Well this is odd.
I do see the script again now.
It sits within an Elementor shortcode widget, which makes me think you’ve possibly inserted it manually through Elementor rather than through our Cookiebot plugin or perhaps both?
Normally removing our plugin also removes the script from your website.

You’re right, in was hidden in some random place in elementor header. It looks to work fine now. Thanks!
