how to get Multisite to work?

    Hey guys. I’m having a hard time understanding how to get Multisite to work. From what I understand this only works with subdomains. I think domain mapping can get around it. I’m not sure what i’m looking for. I added a photo below to understand what i’m trying to do.

    Basically i want the main site have the ability to pull some database from peoplexxx.com and newsxxxx.com and have them on the main site page. It’s just easier for them to see what’s new from all the sites at once. When they click a link, it takes them to peoplexxxx.com or newsxxxx.com. What is the best way to do this?

    I’m not sure you are looking for WP multisite. In multisite, each individual site has separate, not natively shared content. There are some workaround plugins to share content, but it’s not any easier to do that in multisite than with separate installs.
