How to have same width for Header width & Column width?

    I’m using TABLESPRESS in TABS.
    Some times I see HEADER WIDTH & COLUMN WIDTH are NOT SAME.
    In some TABS I see the WIDTH is SAME.
    In some TABS, I see WIDTH is NOT SAME.
    Is there any way to have SAME WIDTH for both HEADER ROW and COLUMNS?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Can you please check if the “Horizontal Scrolling” checkbox is turned on for those tables, and then try again after turning it off? That feature doesn’t work well when the tables are used in tabs.

    Thanks for the quick reply.
    I did it and looks like this is the best way given the no. of columns and the data. I have enabled show/hide columns, so that user can hide columns to see the missing data in hidden columns.

    I have one more question, some times, even though the data type is set as PLAIN TEXT in google sheets, the numbers are shown some times in E+ format. Any clue on this on how to solve this?

    Hi,

    good to hear that this helped!

    How are you getting the data into TablePress from Google Sheets? This seems like the Google export is saving them with the E+ then.

    Hi,

    ok, that could also explain it. Can you please try the CSV format? That’s more robust and should not show this behavior.
