Hi, universal analytics UA definitelly ends in few month, but till now there is no solution in AMPFORWP how to implement GA4 inside. I ask support through ticket but I need just social conversation without any solution again. It is very strong problem to be without analytics.

I found some solution on the Internet, the Google Analytics 4 Support for AMP plugin, but I need to insert their code into the header of AMP pages. Credit Roland Farkas, David Vallejo

I am not sure if it is works perfectly but at least something. And AMPFORWP??? Nothing.

My question is again the same. HOW TO IMPLEMENT GA4 into AMP

    1. Do I need close old UA analytics in your setup?
    2. Is there any conflict with ampforwp and this solution?
    3. How to implement code inside AMP?

I am seriosly frustrated from ampforwp support

I have upgrade it, do you have any documentation how to set it up?

Hi, Currently we don’t have documentation on it. But we will do it and share it once it gets available. And for now, Please update the plugin and go to the analytics option in the settings. And you’ll see Google Analytics 4 option. Just enable it and you need to add the G-XXXXXXXX code.

I have assigned G-XXX code but I cannot still see any post/page AMP way in analytics (code is in source code implemented) Is there some special triggers or events to set to count stream in GA4? For first i need at least “pageviews”, “timing” and “scroll events” see. And AMP non AMP posts count. 🙂 Thnx for answear.

    Hi Ahmed

After implementing I received from the Google Search Console error report. I am not sure if this is just one page or systematic error. Where could be the problem?

Invalid http: URL protocol for config attribute in amp-analytics tag.

See link bellow: Page, message, code….
