Thank you so much!
I had to replace
<?php echo get_stylesheet_directory_uri(); ?>/images/site-logo.png
with the actual pathname in my medialibrary but it’s working! 🙂
Hey there, you don’t have to do any code replacements, the image used there is a Gravatar of the admin e-mail. Register on gravatar.com and use the e-mail you registered with in the Settings – General section for your admin e-mail in the WordPress admin panel. The image will change to your Gvaratar image.
You can get a Gravatar here: http://gravatar.com/
Replacing code with other code will break theme updates, and is insecure, you should not do that. Also note that it might take a while before the new image is showing after you registered with Gravatar, so give it a couple of hours 🙂
If you have any further questions, please let me know and I’ll help you out 🙂 Cheers!
Hi! I love this theme and want to use it but I need to have the option of using local images in the header. My main author is not the admin, so a gravitar will not work here. Anything you can do would be awesome.
Thanks!
Hey there! In version 1.2.3 (you’ll see an update in the coming days) you’ll have that wrapped up in the Custom Header feature, so you’ll be able to upload your own image without having to go through the whole Gravatar way.
Thanks for being patient 🙂
