How to insert small nbsp?

    Hi again,
    sometimes I like to insert a small   like between a number and the currency. I understand, the entity is   but it is gone, after I save the post, and it does look like it works. Maybe I do something wrong.
    Can anybody please enlighten me?

    Thanks for reporting this. Can you please provide more information regarding your server environment (like installed plugins, installed theme, and WP version)?

    does it work for you and is the space smaller than a normal space?
    Otherwise, it most likely is independent from my setup.
    BTW: It would be helpful, if the menu in Gutenberg had an entry labeled small nonbreaking space. I haven’t seen that so far and I don’t think that depends on my setup.

    Hey Frank,

    I double-checked, and the ‘Nonbreaking space’ feature of EditorsKit works as expected and outputs   on the front end.

    I would advise you to test again after disabling all other plugins to ensure they do not cause it.

    but there is a difference between nbsp und small nbsp. I asked for the later …

    Ahh, sorry, I missed that. EditorsKit does not provide support for any other whitespace characters except ‘no break space’  

    I would suggest you open a support ticket for this to the request & feedback forum if you wish to get this feature added to Gutenberg or need assistance on how to make it work
